The vertical chest has been a staple in bedroom collections for its ability to store a lot without taking up too much space. At Kincaid we believe that every bit of that storage space should be maximized which is why our solid wood chests don't take any shortcuts. In the case of the Hamilton, that means a 56 inch tall chest with full depth drawers to make the most of the space. We also add removeable dividers in the second and third drawers from the top to help keep things organized.

All spills should be wiped as soon as possible, including food or beverage residue. We recommend a microfiber cloth dampened with one tablespoon of distilled vinegar to one quart of distilled water. Wipe in direction of the grain. Use clean, soft cloth to dry. Avoid the use of oily polishes or waxes.
To prevent color change, avoid direct sunlight for long periods of time or rotate often for even exposure. To avoid cracking, do not expose to extreme humidity or temperature. Do not place extremely hot or cold drinks directly on the finish. Avoid the use of rubber, vinyl and plastics such as placemats and lamp pads, which may deteriorate finish. We recommend using cloth-backed items for these purposes.
